About us
We began after the domestic violence incident on March 30, 2023, at Midtown Auto Body.
Rocky King, the owner of Midtown Auto Body, was shot in the right side of his temple by his son in law. Rocky was amazed at the support he received from our community after this event and wanted to find a way to give back. Tim Menges, who works at Midtown Auto, approached Rocky about forming a nonprofit to help the community dealing with the same experiences as our family. That began the conversation that led to the formation of our 501c3 KTG Foundation.
Rocky also has a 20-year-old son who is nonverbal and severely autistic so he knows first-hand the challenges having a special needs child in Roane County can be.
Our mission is to promote awareness, advocacy, and support to those individuals and families dealing with autism or domestic violence.
The initials of KTG represents the following: K is for King, T is for Tim, and G is for God because God is the foundation we are built on.
